The company: from yesterday to today

It is in 1975, in the picturesque village of Métis-sur-mer, that Roger Rousseau, a young cabinetmaker and carpenter, has started his company under the name Moulures R. Rousseau. He has made essentially jointed pine mouldings and has served the territory of Matane to Rimouski.

At the beginning of the 80s, the distribution network was widened from the east of Quebec towards New-Brunswick, that has required a diversification of the range of products. So, interior wooden doors, hardwood stairs components and floors which we know the reputation were added to the list of products.

As the years go by, Roger Rousseau has surrounded himself whit a team of general-purpose and competent employees, having for only objective to distinguish itself from the competition and to answer to the tastes of an always growing clientele.

And it is not finished... Being able to make sure of a familial taking over, the company continues to innovate in developing new products, using new species and for sure, getting a lot of informations on the several uses from its "unique window".
